Rear caliper repair process

Step 1 - Remove the spring from the parking brake actuation lever.

STEP 2 - Applying movement to the lever, bring the piston to the end of its stroke.

STEP 3 - Release the piston dust cap.

STEP 4 - Turn itself left to retire the piston. While turning it, pull on it.

STEP 5 - Take out the dust cap.

STEP 6 - Remove the outside piston seal inside the caliper.

STEP 7 - Disassemble the snap ring from the brake piston .

STEP 8 - Dismount the piston actuator screw.

STEP 1 - Replace the pressure seal from the piston actuator screw.

STEP 2 - When assembling the seal, take care of the position. WRONG SIDE.

STEP 2 - The lips must be looking to the internal caliper chamber. RIGHT ASSEMBLY.

STEP 3 - Install the piston driving screw into the caliper piston.

STEP 4 - Install the outside piston pressure seal into the caliper.

STEP 5 - Install the piston driving screw into the caliper piston

STEP 6 - Before mounting the piston into the caliper, assemble the dust cap over the piston.

STEP 7 - Place the assembly in the caliper

STEP 8- Assemble the piston, matching the piston actuator screw with the caliper side .

STEP 9 - Place the dust cup on the piston mounting base

STEP 10- When rotating it, take care about the correct positioning of the dusts cap lips.

STEP 11- Install the spring from the parking brake actuation lever.
