CAUTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART

<div class="note tip"><strong>This document must be thoroughly reviewed prior to the replacement of the expansion valve or orifice tube. Compliance with the procedures and recommendations herein is essential to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the spare part.&nbsp;Installation must be performed exclusively by a trained and qualified professional.</strong></div>

<h3>CAUTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Ensure that the underlying failure has been correctly identified before proceeding with the installation of the new expansion valve or orifice tube.</li>
	<li>The packaging of the product must be inspected for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Any such damage must be reported immediately.</li>
	<li>Extreme caution must be exercised during the unpacking of the product to avoid any damage. Make sure to not press on the membrane of the expansion valve.</li>
	<li>The product must not be disassembled, modified, or used for any purpose other than its intended function.</li>

<h3>CAUTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Prior to commencing any repair work on the vehicle, ensure that the engine has sufficiently cooled to a safe working temperature.</li>
	<li>Before fitting the expansion valve, ensure it is compatible with the vehicle.</li>
	<li>Before fitting the orifice tube, ensure that the colour related to the pressure matches with the vehicle's requirements.</li>
	<li>Only certified and qualified technicians are authorized to handle the vehicle’s A/C system. All work must be conducted in compliance with applicable local and national safety regulations, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment must be used.</li>

<h3>CAUTIONS DURING INSTALLATION OF THE NEW VALEO SPARE PART</h3>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
	<li>The refrigerant must be recovered from the system using an approved A/C recovery unit in accordance with applicable safety and environmental regulations. Refrigerant is classified as hazardous waste and must never be vented into the atmosphere.</li>
	<li>Following any opening of the refrigerant circuit, it is strongly recommended to replace all relevant seals and the drier to ensure system integrity and prevent future leaks.</li>
	<li>If any metal dust is found on the old expansion valve or on the old orifice tube, check for its source (compressor, condenser, etc..).</li>
	<li>Make sure to install the orifice tube in the correct way.</li>
	<li>All fittings and components must be torqued to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications to ensure proper sealing and avoid mechanical or operational failures.</li>
	<li>Final system recharging must be carried out in full compliance with OEM specifications, including thorough system flushing, vacuum creation, and recharging with the precise type and quantity of refrigerant and oil specified for the vehicle.</li>
</ul>

<h3>CAUTIONS AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW VALEO’S SPARE PART</h3>

<ul>
	<li>After installation, check for any signs of refrigerant leakage and verify the correct functioning of the A/C system. The system should generate the recommended cabin temperature, and there should be no abnormal noises.</li>
